iPad Email Configuration (Exchange)

Please enter your email address details here, so that the instructions can be personalised for you.

To use your new mailbox, you will need to configure your email client. The basic information that you will require to do this is as follows :-

Username	yourname@yourdomain.com
Password	supplied initially by us, but can be changed by you
Server	vmail1.mail.hosting-platform.com

To configure your ipad with your e-mail address, you may find the following instructions helpful.

1. Unlock your ipad.
2. Tap 'Settings'.
3. Scroll down to 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars' and tap it.
4. Tap 'Add Account...'
5. Tap 'Exchange'.
6. Enter your email address. (yourname@yourdomain.com)
7. Enter your email password.
8. Description is optional to tell the difference between multiple accounts. (eg Work and home Email)
9. Tap 'Next' when you're done.
10. This will attempt to lookup auto server settings.
11. A window saying 'Cannot Verify Server Identity' will pop up, tap the 'Continue' button.
12. This may happen twice, tap the 'Continue' button again if it does.
13. Enter 'vmail1.mail.hosting-platform.com' in the 'Server' box.
14. Username will be your email address. (yourname@yourdomain.com)
15. Tap 'Next', then tap 'Save'.
